Healthy Snacks you need to try!
While yet another week of quarantine goes by the summer holidays have just started aaannnnnnddddd....... we are still stuck inside. But this summer I would like to do something that helps your health not only your body but makes your skin clearer and you hair more shiny. (Just realised a listed a load of things and haven’t actually told you what I’m talking about whoops) but basically I want to stop snacking so often and when I do I want it to be healthier. Soooooo..... I have found 5 healthy snack recipes and I may do another blog later on of my trying them all!
1. Sour Patch Grapes
These are the things I wanna try the most ! I found this on Tik tok from @brittany.xavier.
To make these you need 2 limes and monkfruit sugar. You squeeze the 2 limes in a bowl or cup then put that juice over the grapes and leave them to soak for 15 minuets you can then roll the grapes in monkfruit sugar. All you have to then put them in the freezer for 2 hours then eat them. I think these would be really good but I’m not sure on whether they would be hard or soft cause they do go in the freezer for 2 hours?!
2. Peanut butter and Apple
Peanut butter and apple sound like a really good snack ! I love apples and peanut butter so I think this would be a good one. And I would do a recipe but I think y’all know how to put peanut butter in a pot and cut up some apples! :)
3. Raspberries and hazelnut
I also got this recipe from Tik tok (@bondenavant). All you do is push the hazelnut inside the raspberry and add some Nutella on top. So everything in there is pretty healthy except the Nutella but who wouldn’t have Nutella ? I would like to try this but I feel like the texture would be really weird cause the Nutella and raspberry are soft but the hazelnut is hard and I’m not a massive fan of nuts either.
4. Banana and peanut butter rice cakes.
These look really good and not many people I know actually like bananas but I like them. These are pretty easy to make and I actually want to try these. Plus rice cakes are sooooo good!!!!
5. Cauliflower Buffalo Wings
I got this recipe from Tik tok again (@gabydimova). You get a whole cauliflower and cut it into smaller pieces. Then add 3/4 of a cup of flower, 2 tsp of garlic powder, 1 tsp of paprika and 1 tsp of salt 1/2 tsp of pepper then you mix that all together. Pour in one cup of dairy free milk and then you mix that together. You then roll the cauliflower in it and put them onto a sheet of tinfoil. You bake them at 450 f for 20 minuets. Once they are out of the oven you roll them into buffalo sauce and bake them for another 20 minuets then your done. Honestly I’m not a fan of cauliflower but I actually really want to try these. You can serve them with cucumber too.
